This is actually New Year’s Eve but if you follow me through years, then you know I’m not really give a damn to it. I mean, horns and fireworks and countdown are too noisy to celebrate something that are really not a thing to be celebrate extravagantly.

But anyway, introduce my another hashtag project which is #CurrentObsession because you may know that I am a person with gazillion interests and once I’m into something I can really involved with it.

So basically I’m not starting to properly read a book. Lately I’ve tried so many, but no even one finished so I thought, why not ‘train’ myself with something lighter instead? Like, magazine, maybe? Then when a blogwalking taking me for this whimsical website called Frankie then I follow them on Instagram (because, you know, recently instagram becomes google for me) and fall in love with their concept and started reading their e-mag!

Frankie is basically a women magazine published in Australia. For me, Frankie Magazine is like a new and fresh source of inspiration for a simple-artsy life. The designs and illustrations itself are clean. Filled with pastels and warm colors, watercolor illustrations, retro images, and other what-not-to-love things. Basically there’s so many, but I’ll highlight the most notable things:

ADS! In every edition Frankie always welcome us to a teenie-weenie section called Frank Bits that consisted of some (okay, SO MUCH) Ads and product promotions and curatorials. But (this is I called ENLIGHTMENT), it doesn’t feel irritating AT ALL! Each and every of them have design and images that are going so well with the vibrant of the mag, plus the content writing are giving us the new spelling of promotional advertising. Believe or not, those ads, I read and stare each one of them.

WORDS! Like I said before, words that Frankie use is somehow a new kind for me. It’s kind of snob and filled with sarcasm, but in the totally new perspective and aware me of so many simple things I never put attention before. And it filled with humor too!

COLUMN! In another woman magazine you’ll find Beauty, Life, Zodiac, Celebrity Update, Fashion Trends, Boys, News, Music, Books, while Frankie chew it up like a gum and vomiting all totally new columns like Around the World, Mind Your Business, Try This At Home, Learn Something New, What A Great Idea, Road Test (This is my favorite

ARTICLES! You may not find latest thing that happen in the world in it. Somehow I assume that Frankie is introvert-kind of magazine which really into indoor and some particular outdoor getaway. It’s not bringing us into the present world but instead take us to the world which absolutely new, that we aren’t aware of before. It takes us meeting a new people with a cool profession, one-of-a-kind story, and keen inspiration, but if we happen to just stay it home, it give us some cool ideas too!

LAYOUT! Frankie present the words and images in a clean white background with classic fonts which easy and fuss-free to read. But in some section the words become too dense. Like an interview where there’s no space between question and the answer. I think if they have to fix one thing, it must be this layout style.

Afterall, Frankie cherish independence, and both stay-home and wanderlust minds. It prove us that “Less is More” and embrace the artistic side of us. Soon enough after I got my own salary and verified paypal account, I’ll subscribe to the physical prints right away!

I don’t know is this a Frankie effect or no, but lately I listens to Frank Sinatra A LOT. His voice reminds me of old, retro Disney movies in my childhood memory.

#LearnToday: Note to Self

I learnt that no matter how worst our life and no matter how crushed our mentality, it doesn’t mean people around us have to feel the same. Throw anger and being rude is reckless and childish.

And that was I did everytime.

I currently have an unstable emotions due to so many rejections and denials I’ve encountered these past months. Therefore I have to take control of myself. Please, no way scream, yell, shout, swear, and unintentional cynical tone.

By the way, probably by eating more sweets can help.

New Trend Alert: Been Bullied

I kind of irritated with the talkshow inviting famous people (mostly in this case, celebrities) then have a flashback-ish conversation and the famous person admit “I was bullied back then.”

Well, it maybe believable if it said by one or two, but ALL of them?

Main Story.

I dont know why and how, but “been (or being) bullied” seems like a trend nowadays. So many people admiting they have been bullied in their past life, so proud as if they are happy with the fact. I mean, WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU GUYS?

I never been bullied. It’s true that my junior high school days was not easy back then, but I do not consider it as bullying. But I knew some people who was, and just recalling them makes my heart aches. Most of them don’t want to talk nor remember it anymore, while the other ones burst on cries as the topic goes deep.

The real bullying is so heartbreaking, out of humanity. Some might suffer physical injury(es) but the emotional pains can stain for a long time, even sometimes can’t be healed and possibly occuring nightmare.

So I don’t know how to react to some people who admit themselves have been bullied, with such a large smile and glittering eyes. Does the story about been bullied make some people feel superior, I wonder? Like, they want to prove everyone that they are so strong to get up and achieve something sensational in the present time. To prove that they are part of such an admirable process. Of course we have to encourage the bullying victims in a most possible way but seems that way had been mistaken by people who seeking self-acknowledgement, for their own advantages. It is so wrong.

I knew a model who acclaimed that she had been bullied in the high school by friends called her ‘Cockroach’.

There are absolutely HUGE different between BULLYING and CASUAL FIGHTING, bitch please. If there’s people mocked you, stabbed you, bad-mouthed you, belittled you, whereas there’s actually a possibility that you can fight them back like Xena or be cool and IDGAF like Wednesday Addams, it doesn’t gives you reason to acclaim “BEEN BULLIED”, because bullying is not as simple as that.

Stop playing victim of the fight that you are actually didn’t into. There are so many REAL bullying victims out there that we have to concern and encourage and there’s no time for anyone who pretend to be one of them (the real victims) just for seeking attention and acknowledgement.

The Story Just Begins

I feel so wicked seeing my blog after weeks gone without write anything. I’m so sorry, I’m not neglecting it FYI. I just trying to deal with uneasy-to-deal world and push myself to enjoy what seemed to be not-so-enjoyable days.

Main Story.

Anyway, perhaps you have seen it (if you haven’t, please scroll it up XD), I CHANGE MY HEADER! After three years of dwelling here, finally! Woohoo!! I made it from scratch by photoshop and using my own photo so paaaardooon me if it’s not seems professional one. Gosh I really have to learn more T_T

Another things, I just realized apparently my posts consist the pre and post-topic. Which is, it may be quite troublesome if you need to read my main topic ASAP  (I’m sorry, I have to start cut-off this blabbering habit) so I comes up with a solutions: I cut it to THREE PART!

  1. Prologue, basically just my talks about life updates and so on.
  2. Main Story, kind of what the tittle is all about.
  3. Epilogue, it can be related to the main topic or not. Sometimes I add my current faves too (can be music, youtube videos, artist, drawing, ANYTHING).

I will use this format from now on, but may be will cut the prologue or epiloge part if it doesn’t necessary in to the certain post. I hope it helps and by the way, I think it attractive either way, heheh

By the way, I supposed to study right now.
